About Dominique

All about me.

From small town Northern California, now based in Los Angeles, I’m following my path to become the starving artist I’ve always wanted to be. I find inspiration through the human body, ocean, fire, ideals in identity and spirituality. Recently, I’ve been drawn to butterflies as they represent change and transformation as I feel I have been going through a self transformation over the past year. As I’ve grown older, I realize I have a strong inclination and desire to inspire others in body positivity and self as it is something I have struggled with from my adolescence into adulthood. In using my own body in my artworks, I have learned to become more comfortable with myself and more confident in my skin.

My artworks explore a wide range in mediums as they go from drawings and paintings to digital collage. I’m also in the process of stepping into fashion through painting, patching and embroidering clothing and shoes.

I hope to inspire viewers through imagery and to eventually be featured in galleries and to maybe have my own show.
